Updates
- 18 January 2006
¤ Winners are now available! Congratulations, everyone!
¤ The 2007 Slash Challenge site is now open. Writing for it will begin on 1 February. Please see that site for more details!
- 18 December 2006
¤ All stories are formatted and posted. Happy reading! Please leave comments and vote in the poll.
¤ Dates have changed above.
- 16 December 2006 - 12:24AM
¤ The deadline has passed. Of the 20 potential entries, only five came in: less than one-quarter of the people. Here's hoping next year's challenge does better.
¤ Thank you to the five people (out of the 20 potential) who took the time to let me know they wouldn't be submitting.
¤ Another two thanks: to Katsuko, for making the entrants' banners, as well as volunteering to make banners for winners, in addition to assisting with judging; and to Desolate03, for the only donation towards winners' prizes.
¤ It's not set in stone, but next year's challenge will probably start on 1 February.
¤ Due to the low response, results may be out quicker than anticipated.
- 05 October 2006
¤ We've passed the halfway point. In fact, we're almost to two-thirds of the way through. There have been no completions as of 05 October 2006.
¤ There have still been no donations, so writers don't be too upset that prizes may suck this year. Prizes for the shounen-ai/yaoi (slash) side of the challenge will be coming out of my own pocket if no donations are received.
¤ ¤ Apollymi is not responsible for prizes with the gen/het.
¤ There is, however, always the possibility of doujinshi being offered as prizes.
- 15 September 2006
¤ We're officially into the halfway point of the writing portion of the contest.
¤ We also now have 18 possible entries in the contest.
- 13 August 2006
¤ We have 16 possible entries for the contest now! Definitely picking up steam! Looking great!
¤ You may have noticed the addition of a donation section to each page. This is to help offset the cost of webhosting -- and to give the winners some nice prizes! Please help out!
- 09 August 2006
¤ We're up to 15 possible entries for the contest -- moving right along! Keep up the great work!
- 21 June 2006
¤ Gen/het stories moved to Seventh Star, hosted by Azurite.
- 19 June 2006
¤ Entries page updated to include current stats on how many story notifications have been received so far.
¤ Possibilities are strong that the gen/het category will be moved into a secondary contest, hosted by Azurite.
- 18 June 2006
¤ If I have not received any notifications for gen/het entries by Wednesday, June 21, I will be closing this category, due to the (now deleted) whining on YGO Rants. Sorry, Sweet.
- 17 June 2006
¤ Gen/het is now allowed! Be sure and thank Sweet for volunteering to judge it for the contest.
- 15 June 2006
