And now I guess it’s time for a little bit of information on me.<\/p>\n
1) How did you come up with your pen name?<\/b><\/p>\n

[Adora Addams]:<\/b> In 2016, I started getting out of Dark Hunter<\/i> (by a lot), and it came time for a new user name. By that point, I was scrambling to come up with something new, fun — and that might stay with for another ten-plus years. “Adora” came from She-Ra<\/i>, way back before the new cartoon started, harkening back all the way back to my childhood, while “Addams” is of course from The Addams Family<\/i>.<\/p>\n
[Apollymi]:<\/b> Where did I come up with Apollymi? There’s a very simple\u00a0answer to this: Sherrilyn Kenyon. I was quickly intrigued by the idea of her\u00a0character, Apollymi<\/a>,\u00a0so much so that it became my new journal username. When I came to the realization\u00a0I needed a new writing nom de plume<\/i>, I went with what I had again. I changed to Apollymi in 2005, and I’ve stayed\u00a0with it even though my interest in Sherrilyn Kenyon novels has since long since waned.<\/b><\/p>\n [Eternal SailorM]: <\/b>I wish I had some elaborate story behind “Eternal\u00a0SailorM”. Honestly, back in 1999, I was being a little fangirl (that happens often) and\u00a0was trying to make a Hotmail account for Eternal Sailormoon, but I ran out of\u00a0room and had to settle for eternal_sailorm. When I started posting my fanfiction\u00a0on the original Fanfic.net, I realized I needed a pen name. I turned to my Hotmail\u00a0account name. Sometimes I regret it a bit; no one seems to be able to realize\u00a0that it’s “Eternal SailorM” and not “Eternal Sailor Moon”.\u00a0^.^;; I guess I got what I wanted in the long run.<\/p>\n 2) Where do you get your inspiration?<\/b><\/p>\n I think that inspiration comes from everything around you. It just takes an\u00a0open mind and a willingness to look around and see what can be seen. More\u00a0specifically, I get a lot of my inspiration from different songs or events going\u00a0on in my own life. I read a lot and that gets me thinking about all sorts of\u00a0things as well. But honestly, I think all writers have to be just a bit crazy,\u00a0as leaving themselves open for ideas can leave you exhausted and maybe a little\u00a0psychotic.<\/p>\n 3)Are you a published author?<\/b><\/p>\n I can finally say “yes” to this! My first series, The Preterhumans<\/i>, was\u00a0released by Cacoethes Publishing, using my real name: Katherine Bell<\/a>. However, that publisher seems to have gone under, so I am\u00a0now selling The Preterhumans<\/i> through Lulu.com.\u00a0I also write under the pseudonym of Ellie Hicks<\/a>. Look more towards the latter if you want things that are similar to my fanfiction.<\/p>\n I also have one short story published in a local competition, as well as several poems on\u00a0a more nationwide scale.<\/p>\n 4) Do you write anything other than fanfiction?<\/b><\/p>\n Most definitely!! My former co-workers used to joke that you can never find\u00a0me without a pen and\u00a0paper; it’s always in my purse, in my pocket, or in my jacket. I’m constantly at\u00a0work on something, be an essay, a fanfiction, a poem, or one of my novels.<\/p>\n 5) Where did the Sango picture go?<\/b><\/p>\n Errr… somehow I should have seen this one coming. The Sango picture came\u00a0down because too many people were direct-linking to it and therefore eating my\u00a0bandwidth. No one was willing to reimburse me for the transfer they were using –\u00a0and donations aren’t exactly rolling in – so any image that was being hot-linked\u00a0to had to come down.<\/p>\n 6) Are you still writing fanfiction?<\/b><\/p>\n Yes, most definitely. While there may be long hiatuses between my updates, I am most assuredly still working on fanfiction.<\/p>\n Online Name:<\/b> Apollymi, Eternal SailorM, Angel Maxwell, Li, JitaZ Movies:<\/i> “The Princess Bride”, Lord of the Rings trilogy, original Star Wars trilogy, Aliens, The Magnificent Seven (2016) I got officially started anime in 1998 (I’m not counting Voltron and others\u00a0I watched as a child). Like so many other people, I saw first exposed to anime\u00a0through the dubs of Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z. My first thought was\u00a0“This could be so much better if” -insert something-<\/i> “was\u00a0done differently.” It wasn’t long after that that I discovered on-line fanfiction.\u00a0I’d been writing it for a while before then, mostly with MacGyver and Anne\u00a0Rice’s Vampire Chronicles, so it was easy for me to make the transition from\u00a0sharing written works with my friends to posting anime fanfiction on-line,\u00a0starting with The Never-Ending Crossover<\/i>, which oddly enough has ended\u00a0prematurely, and it’s just gone on and on from there. (And, no, you’re NOT going\u00a0to see my early work. It stunk.)<\/p>\n I’m an avid fanfiction fan, so long as it’s done well. I can’t abide Mary Sues\/Gary\u00a0Stus, and I don’t like seeing characterization forgotten to hook up two characters,\u00a0which is my only major beef with the slash\/yaoi community.
